About the Speaker and Company
Rob is responsible for the Invensys Operations, Information and Asset Management software business globally. This includes responsibility for defining and executing the Software product and business strategy. The Information, Operations and Asset Management business includes Production Information (Wonderware brand Historian, SmartGlance, Reporting & Intelligence), Operations and Execution (MES, Batch and Workflow) as well as Asset Management (IntelaTrac Mobile Solutions, Avantis). Rob comes to Invensys with over 18 years of experience working in the software business with a focus on manufacturing and industrial applications, serving markets such as water, food, beverage, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing. He has held positions within sales, product marketing and business management for various companies within the software industry including General Electric, Emerson/Intellution and Rockwell Automation. Rob has extensive experience in Product and Business Management, M&A, Sales, and Marketing and is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where he studied Computer Science and Journalism & Communications.
