About the Speaker and Company

Brit Buchanan, Marketing Manager, Thomas & Betts-

Brit Buchanan is a Marketing Manager at the industry leader, Thomas & Betts. Brit currently supports 60% of the product groups within her company. She was nominated for Marketing Leader of the Year after only working at TNB for one year. With her first marketing launch being so successful, Brit raised the bar and set the standards for future marketing projects. She received her bachelors at the University of Memphis and is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Marketing.

Leonard Salamida, Application Engineer, Thomas & Betts-

Leonard Salamida, is an Applications Engineer, and lead in the Thomas & Betts eFab service department. Leonard graduated in 2003 from Florida International University with a Civil/Environmental bachelors degree. Leonard has an extensive background in the construction field for commercial development. He has previously held the position of project manager under a Miami based contracting firm. Most recently before his joining Thomas & Betts, he was employed with Florida Power and Light. There he was a Project manager, engineering underground and overhead expansion projects from the substation to the meter.

Leonard has been with T&B for just shy of two years now, relocating from the small town of Miami to the great city of Memphis. Leonard was hired to support the boxes division in technical sales. Mostly to focus on the expansion and reviving of a services branch of T&B labeled as eFab.
