Downers Grove, ILL — CFE MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY EXPANDS VIRTUAL TRAINING WEEK PROGRAM
During the week of October 5-9, 2020, CFE Media and Technology (CFE) hosted the inaugural Virtual Training Week for Engineers. The week was designed to provide engineers with continuing education credit hours, which, based on results of proprietary research conducted by CFE, 70% of respondents said they were significantly or moderately behind on obtaining due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The virtual event consisted of 17 presentations and live Q&A sessions with the industry’s leading experts. Topics covered included Digital Transformation, Smart Buildings, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance, Electrical Safety, and Motors and Drives.
Virtual Training Week proved to be a major success in terms of attendees, session enrollments, and total number of professional development hours accredited to engineers. The vast majority of attendees signed up for multiple sessions throughout the week, and, as a result, CFE Media and Technology was able to educate thousands of engineers. All sessions received a four- or five-star rating, out of five stars.
“The presenter was excellent,” said one event attendee, a facilities operations vice president. “The course material was fantastic—the best I have experienced.”
“This video was excellent,” said another attendee. “The instructor was excellent, and visual aids even more so.”
Due to the positive response to the event, CFE Media and Technology has decided to expand its Virtual Training Week program, with two week-long virtual events set to take place in 2021. The first is scheduled to take place in Spring 2021.
“We were overwhelmed with the response to our first Virtual Training Week,” said Patrick Lynch, Vice President of Technology and Services at CFE Media and Technology. “The Virtual Training Week Team is thrilled to continue to host these events for our engineering audience.”
CFE Media and Technology is committed to providing high-quality and relative content to engineers to further their education. The company looks forward to continually hosting Virtual Training Week events in order to further their mission of providing the highest-quality content and education for engineers.
