Downers Grove, ILL — CFE MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY LLC CELEBRATES 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
CFE Media and Technology LLC has reached an exciting milestone as the company celebrates 10 years of business as a content, technology, and education provider.
The company was founded in 2010 by Jim Langhenry and Steve Rourke as a publisher of the magazine titles Control Engineering, Consulting-Specifying Engineer, and Plant Engineering.
Committed to the goal of educating not only an engineering audience, but marketing partners as well, CFE Media introduced the Marketing to Engineers® brand in 2012 with the first in-person seminar taking place in Chicago, IL. The company expanded further in 2013 with the launch of the CFE Technology division and the introduction of the content marketing solution ContentStream®. The creation of the lead generation tool ContactStream®, the New Products for Engineers Database, and the Global System Integrator Database followed to expand the technology division. In 2016, an additional magazine title, Oil & Gas Engineering, was launched. In 2019, the company added a third division with the introduction of CFE Services, which offers custom marketing solutions for clients seeking to reach the engineering audience.
